Lee Changsub’s 'The Wayfarer' in Manila: A Night of Soulful Journeys and Filo Melody Love

BTOB’s Lee Changsub gave Filo Melodies a night they’ll never forget with The Wayfarer solo concert held last March 22, 2025, at the SM North EDSA Skydome. His first-ever solo show in the Philippines felt less like a performance and more like a soulful homecoming—intimate, heartfelt, and wrapped in blue light.

Opening the evening with “Chivalry” and “Golden Hour,” Changsub immediately set the tone: raw emotion, powerhouse vocals, and a whole lot of love. The setlist pulled heavily from his 2024 full-length album 1991, with each song offering a glimpse into his personal growth and artistry. Fans sang along to every note, making the experience feel more like a shared story than just a show.

But the real magic came in the in-between moments. In his ever-sincere style, Changsub took time to speak directly to the crowd, sharing his gratitude and love. “I’m so happy right now. I’m happy when I sing,” he said with a smile that felt like a hug. “I’ll try my best to sing together with you for a long, long time.” That line hit right in the feels—if you weren’t teary-eyed, were you even there?

More than just a concert, The Wayfarer was a celebration of connection—between artist and fans, between past and present selves, and between music and meaning. Changsub didn’t just perform; he made everyone in the room feel seen, heard, and remembered.

The Wayfarer in Manila wasn’t just another stop on tour—it was a love letter. And we were lucky enough to read it live. Brought to us by L-Squared Production PH, this special night reminded us of the kind of magic that only live music can bring.
