Kyuhyun and Moira’s hugot-core duet was a punch to the soul, and somehow we’re grateful.

When L-Squared Productions first announced COLORS, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun’s 10th-anniversary concert in Manila, we already knew we were in for a night of musical excellence. But what we didn’t expect was to walk away with emotional baggage in the form of a surprise collab that hit harder than we were prepared for.

Enter: Moira Dela Torre x Kyuhyun — the heartbreak crossover we didn’t know we needed until we were clutching our chests post-performance.

The two balladeers joined forces for a duet of Paubaya, Moira’s iconic heartbreak anthem, and let’s just say—tears were shed. Kyuhyun’s smooth, emotive vocals intertwined perfectly with Moira’s raw delivery, transforming the already painful track into a full-on emotional assault. Kyuhyun and Moira’s hugot-core duet was a punch to the soul, and somehow we’re grateful.

But that wasn’t all. The two also performed A Million Pieces, a heart-wrenching Kyuhyun song that perfectly matched the mood of the night. Moira’s delicate vocals brought a new depth to the song, and hearing both of them sing together was nothing short of magical. It’s safe to say we weren't emotionally prepared for this double whammy.

Social media exploded with clips and crying emojis, with fans calling it “the most unexpected and emotionally damaging crossover”

User @neekoii on X said: "Grabiiiii  Moira as always delivers stunning vocals. But Kyu singing it in the same key!?! Hello???  Amazing performer talaga kyubb!" User @ichonickyu on X said: "i love the way kyu sang the song. So beautiful.  and i appreciate the effort to learn a filipino song."

As if the performance wasn’t enough, the two artists also shared some heartwarming moments on Instagram. Kyuhyun posted a heartfelt message on his instagram about his COLORS concert journey, with a special mention to Moira

Meanwhile, Moira’s caption read: “Thank you @gyuram88 for being so kind we had the best time!!” Her words reflected the joy and gratitude she felt after sharing the stage with Kyuhyun, and fans couldn’t help but gush over their mutual respect and friendship.

L-Squared, the local promoter behind COLORS, didn’t just bring in a K-pop legend for a solo stage — they orchestrated a moment that blurred borders and built a bridge between two ballad powerhouses from opposite sides of Asia. It’s giving cultural exchange, but make it masakit.

As if our hearts weren't already fragile from Kyuhyun’s solo setlist, the duet with Moira was the final stab. And yes, we’d gladly go through it again.

Will there be an official release of this collab? No word yet — but if L-Squared decides to make it happen, just know we’ll be streaming it with tissues in hand.
